Hi Ericka. Welcome. I am psychotherapist in private practice in California who was born totally blind. I am also a career counselor. :-) Have you considered the possibility of doing either advice nursing by phone – all hospitals and insurance companies employee advice nurses – or returning to school is a nurse practitioner in psychiatric nursing? There are several nurse practitioner masters programs with psychiatric specializations. Would any of these things interest you in nursing?
