[Journalists] meeting during national convention

Hello everyone,

 

I wanted to thank you for your great response for us to hold a meeting. I
heard from John Berggren, who is the convention planning guru who told me
that July 3-4 are actually rather busy times to hold meetings because of the
other activities.

Therefore, I requested a 7-8 p.m. time slot on July 7, which is the evening
before the final day of the convention.

I don't know if we will get the time and date that I requested, but I needed
to submit the agenda entry before April 15.

I wanted to keep everyone updated on the meeting plans.

Anyway, I am writing to gauge interest in having a meeting for people
interested in journalism or those who are considering pursuing the
profession.

The convention is July 3-8. The best days for groups to meet are July 3 and
July 4 as those have the most available times.

Please reply to this note by April 10.
