 Merchants

I am pleased to be able to announce a new list -- MABM the Maryland 
Association of Blind Merchants. The list description is as follows:

This list is sponsored by the National Federation of the Blind, NFB,
and the NFB of Maryland.

The Maryland Association of Blind Merchants (MABM) is a State Chapter 
of the National Association of Blind Merchants
and a Division of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland. 
MABM's Active Members are blind and visually impaired entrepreneurs 
who are vendors under
the Randolph-Sheppard Program and/or blind independent business owners.
MABM's Associate Members are blind and sighted individuals who are 
interested in supporting the organization and it's efforts to promote 
the interest of blind merchants
and the general well-being of the blind.

The ListServe will be a valuable communication resource for MABM to 
disseminate information
about the organization's ongoing activities, such as meeting 
information, legislative activities,
state and national business development conferences, etc. The 
ListServe can also be a way for other NFB members to
become aware and learn more about the opportunities available through 
the Randolph-Sheppard Program and other business related opportunities.
