Hello All,

Come to the June 14 informational protest to help disabled voters get our
secret ballot back. We will assemble at 10:30 am at the Southeast Anchor
Library, 3601 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore. The protest will be over by 1 pm.
This is flag day and the first day of early voting so it is a good time to
let the public know that there should be an end to segregating the ballots
cast by people with disabilities. We must make our voices heard. Nobody
will do this job but us! Please let me know if you are coming by sending an
email off list to NFBMD at earthlink.net.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
