[MD-AtLarge] Meeting reminder and minutes

Hello all,
The NFBMD At Large Chapter is back on schedule. We will meet tonight,
August 18th, at 7:30pm. The call-in number is 339-209-4083.

Tonight's meeting will be a hodgepodge of catchup and new subjects. We will
have a mystery guest so you will have to come and find out who it is. It's
somebody you know. Here are some questions to think about that will be
discussed tonight. Do you want to participate in a movement challenge? Do
you have ideas about chapter fundraising? Hope to see you there tonight.
Below are the minutes from the June meeting in case you need a reminder.

NFBMD At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for June 16, 2026

The Presidential Release was played at 7:32 PM.
The meeting was started at 8:00 PM by Marguerite Woods, President.
The round robin took place. Everyone announced themselves, stated where
they are in the state, and answered the question have you registered for
the virtual NFB National Convention if you are not going in person.

Charles led Julie in the NFB pledge.

Tonight’s guests were Melissa Ricobono and Anil Lewis. Melisa introduced
herself first and Anil introduced himself next. They are the co-host of
Nations Blind Podcast. They discussed their backgrounds, how the NFB has
helped them in their lives, and talked about the podcast. They will
broadcast a half-hour before each convention session, the board meeting,
the resolutions committee meeting, and the banquet. They do this to provide
the virtual participants with additional information. Sometimes they will
interview guests.

The meeting adjourned at 9:11PM.
