[MD-AtLarge] Meeting Reminder/Minutes

Hello All,

The next meeting of the At Large Chapter will be on Tuesday March 17th at
7:30pm. Our guest speaker is Dr. LaShawna Fant, President of the NFB of
Mississippi. She will talk about both Women's History and Black History.
Remember, the calling number is 339-209-4083.

We would like to know if you've heard from any state legislatures yet
concerning our bills. Below is a copy of our minutes from the February
meeting.

NFBMD At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for February 17, 2026

The Presidential Release was played at 7:45 PM.
The meeting was started at 8:00 PM by Marguerite Woods, President.
The round robin took place. Everyone announced themselves, stated where
they are in the state, and answered the question what forms of
communication are effective with our federal, state, and local
representatives?
There were approximately 25 members on the call.

Sharon led Ronia in the NFB pledge.

Sharon talked about Annapolis day and the two legislative bills that we
discussed with our representatives. She asked if the state could write
letters on each member’s behalf.

Members gave reflections on what they got out of state convention.

The meeting adjourned at 9:08 PM.
