[MI-ABS] Meet the Michigan Association of Blind Students

Letter from the MIABS president Jeffery Crouch

Hello fellow federationists,
As the newly elected president of the Michigan Association of Blind Students, I would like to invite everyone to come meet our board and learn more about the great division that is MIABS.
On the heels of our great state convention that happened last weekend, we want to hear your thoughts. What made it exciting for you?
Our board is full of energy, hope and determination. We have large ideas for the division. However, we want to hear from you. We can't do it alone and we need you in order to turn dreams in to reality for blind students in Michigan.
Whether you are a student or are just interested in student affairs, a senior, a parent of a blind student, or fall somewhere in between, you are welcome and your voice matters.
Our first meeting will be Saturday November 8th, 2025 at 11A.M. We will be meeting in the NFBMI zoom room. You can find the zoom link at the bottom of this letter.
We will be discussing advocacy, fundraising, leadership, Washington seminar and much more.
I hope that you will consider joining us and being apart of making the MIABS division strong.
