Greetings federationists,
I hope that everyone's week is going well.
We are excited to announce the MIABS Accessible Flea Market. In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we wanted to createe an online shop offering various products and services to show off accessibility and more importantly, our member's talents.
So, if you are looking for something sweet or crafty, Assistive Technology Training, Voiceovers for your next project, various sessions like Disability Awareness Counseling, podcasting, or O&M problem solving strategy sessions our Flea Market is your place.
Please make sure to read the descriptions of the items as they will provide you contact information to contact the seller after purchasing.
A note about the platform we are using.
We are using Zeffy, a fundraising platform for non-profits. Unlike paypal, Zeffy ensures that the organization receives every cent of your donation. On the check out page, you can make an optional donation to assist Zeffy in covering service costs. This is optional and you can choose not to make the extra donation, Zeffy does not penalize you or the organization if you choose not to make the extra donation.
So, please come and support students and let us show off our talents.
Here is the link to the online shop.

Thank you for supporting the Michigan Association of Blind Students

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.

Sincerely,
Jeffery Crouch
President: Michigan Association of Blind Students
