Hello:

While reading these messages on activists, I was thinking of a blind
person who was fairly well known in the nineteenth century. She was Francis
Jayne Crosby usually known as Fanny J. Crosby. She was born in 1820 and died
in 1915. Numbers vary, but she wrote between 6,000 and 9,000 hymns. Although
not an activist like Helen Keller, Dr. tenBroek etc., she in her own way
influenced a great many people. Three of her hymns are: To God Be The Glory,
Blessed Assurance and Pass Me Not Oh Gentle Savior. Have a great day.

Regards,

Robert Jaquiss
