Hi Ashley and everyone,

For anybody interested in this issue, you may want to join the
BANA-Announce list. To do this, send a blank email with the subject
Subscribe to bana-announce at brailleauthority.org. Dave Andrews and I
are subscribed to that list, so when there's new rules or something
from BANA, one of us usually posts it to the lists. Usually I leave
that up to Dave, since I'm only limited to the lists I'm on, whereas
he can post it to the NFB-Net-Members list and it will go to all
members of all NFB lists. Speaking of Dave, as the moderator, what do
you think of this discussion? I'd love to hear from you, since you are
the owner and moderator! I agree with you on most of your comments,
Steve. I'd just say that I think any Federationist has the right to
talk to Sharon and express their opinion that a resolution should be
written. Yes, the resolution won't be considered until next summer,
but I do think that if a member suggested something to her about a
resolution, Sharon would bring it up to the resolutions comittee.

"The real problem of blindness is not the loss of eyesight. The real
problem is the misunderstanding and lack of education that exists. If
a blind person has the proper training and opportunity, blindness can
be reduced to a mere physical nuissence." -- Kenneth Jernigan
