[nabs-l] files in protected view

Hi Julie,

That's what I do. Since I use Outlook for email, all files sent as email
attachments show up in protected view when I open them in Word, so I have to
do this sometimes. It would be nice, though, if there was a shortcut key to
toggle between protected view and whatever the view is called that allows
you to edit the document.

Chris

Hi Patric,

I have had to deal with the same problem. Unfortunately, I don't think
there is any way to turn it off entirely. You'll just have to go into the
ribbon and then control tab to where the status bar tool bar would be and
then press tab. Then there will be a button to take it out of protected
view. I am curious to see though if anyone else has found a short cut for
this or a way to turn it off completely.
