  I have an asus.  I don't remember the model number offhand but it's
got 8 gb ram, the battery usually runs me about 6 hours, and it's one
of the more portable laptops I've seen.  (it's a full-fledged laptop,
not a netbook)  It's worked for me fairly well in the ten months I've
had it.
