[nabs-l] IEP meeting in senior year of high school

  Hi all,

I am currently a high school senior, and just found out that
I'll be having my next (and therefore last) IEP meeting next
month. I have no idea why I'm having the meeting, since I'm
graduating from high school next month, and therefore won't have
an IEP afterwords.
So what I'd like to know is, have any of you guys had your last
IEP meeting your senior year of high school, rather than your
junior year? If so, what kinds of things did you discuss?
Accommodations for college? What you'd be doing after high
school? I imagine that you wouldn't be talking about
accommodations for the next schoolyear, since you obviously won't
be in school, and that's what an IEP meeting is for, to talk
about future accommodations in school, right?

I hope you can answer these questions and help solve this
confusion, because I originally thought that my last meeting
would be in my junior year of high school, not my senior year
since after that I'll be going to college, and therefore will not
have an IEP for that.

Looking forward to hearing from you, and good luck with studying
and taking your exams!

Thanks in advance,

Sami.
