[nabs-l] Windows 10: Turning Off The Screen

Hello,
In earlier versions of windows (8.1, 8, 7, etc) you could run "displayswitch /external" from cmd or the run dialog, or press windows+p and select "second screen only" to turn off the monitor while still being able to use the machine with a screen reader.
This was useful on laptops, where battery life and privacy are concerns.
However, this feature seems to be unavailable in Windows 10 on a number of machines. For these systems, what is the best way to do this? Basically something like the "screen curtain" on Apple devices.

Thanks,
Bill
