[NABS-L] Should Transportation Be Considered When Searching for Internships?

Hi All,

I am a college freshman and I am thinking about doing an internship during
the summer after my sophomore year. When looking for internships, should I
be looking for something close to home since I cannot hop into my car and
drive to work like the rest of society? Wouldn't looking for an internship
close to home limit myself while others are not limited? Should I look for
an internship that is easy to get to via public transportation? I live in a
suburban area that is right outside a small town. There is not an abundance
of public transportation like if I lived in a major city. There is a bus
transit system.

Can anyone please share experiences in regards to scheduling internships and
how to think in terms of the logistics behind getting to and from an
internship?

Thank You,

Nick
