I'm sorry to hear about Wanagi's hip problems, how devastating this must be
for you.  I'm glad though that you can keep her as a pet, and I am glad to
hear you have two other dog possibilities already.  Yes, it sounds like you
will be kept very busy!  Good luck with all of it, and keep us posted on
which dog works out as a guide.
