Ron,
    I guess we will just need to agree to disagree. As for being "approved" 
by a low vision specialist, I feel that most such specialists have very 
little understanding of blindness. For this reason, they tend to encourage 
blind people to use inadequate eyesight and all sorts of low vision devices, 
rather than non-visual techniques.
