Yeah, I was thinking that, too.  An inexperienced blind flyer with a young,
inexperienced guide, I had enough to worry about without needing to take
into account blood sugar testing and the like!  Then again, I didn't take
into account back spasms, which turned into a real issue on the flight
there.  From now on, first class seating, even if I don't think I'm going to
have a problem with spasms.  What do I know, anyway?

So taking into account any secondary issues, and especially one so important
as blood sugar testing, is an important factor to consider with or without
guide dog!
