[nagdu] anticipating

Mine will anticipate turns very well. but she'll also follow my commands if
I need her to go a different way. I once had an issue where I had a migrain.
I was at a school and had 2 differennt rooms that I could stay in-- one
with an air conditioner and one without (long story)... I needed to get my
meds from the other room across the courtyard, which involved several turns.
I was ok when I went out of the room and got my meds; however, on the way
back, I became disoriented and confused because of the pain. My dog took me
the entire way back down the stairs, across the courtyard, into the other
building, up the stairs, and to my room without a single command from me. I
dropped my keys and they came off the keychain after we arrived at the room
with the AC. She located and fetched and handed me each key again with no
direction from me. It was like she could sense something was wrong with me.
I believe anticipating to be extremely important in these situations. Like
I say, all I have to say, if I don't want to go a certain way is, "no" and
give the direction I want to go.
Sorry for the long post.
Hope and Beignet
