[nagdu] a couple questions

If you really think about it, the way GDB does things is better.  They
retain ownership for the first year and monitor things to make sure nothing
major develops.  After the first year, you can choose to take ownership of
the dog or let GDB retain ownership.  Keep in mind too that GDB is more
helpful when issues of being denied access are involved such as one of the
universities in this state had if you did not register the dog with the
university.  TSE wouldn't touch that issue with a 10 foot pole and said it
was perfectly legal.  GDB took care of it since this group nor TSE did.  If
you haven't figured it out, I give all my high marks to GDB and all low
marks to TSE.  I give full support to GDB and no support for TSE.

Indeed. I remember reading in some book about Seeing Eye that no
person has ever been denied a Seeing Eye dog due to lack of funds or
inability to pay. Frankly, I would rather pay something than getting a
dog like that for nothing, since this would help me to feel more
responsible for what happens to the dog. Rather than viewing it as a
"gift." Plus, there's that whole ownership thing, and the fact that as
soon as I give the check to the school, the dog is mine!
