Has anyone here participated in a marathon or mini-marathon with his or her
dog? 
 
I'm not asking if this is doable or appropriate. I'm curious about
experiences of those who have done so, especially within the last 5 years or
so. these would be organized events for the general public and would be
regulation marathons, not 5K or 10K fun walks. 
 
Did you run into any difficulty working your dog during the race, either
personally with the dog itself or with race organizer policies? 
 
I eagerly and curiously await your responses.
