[nagdu] Legislative Consideration

Rox,

Around here, I'm the one who's certifiable! /grin/ Luckily, Mitzi did not
give me too many hard knowcks while she was in school!

I cannot imagine flying on a plane with a dog that tried to attack mine and
whose owner nearly lost control of it. No thank you!

Am I wrong in my understanding that, in that case, the dog *should* have
been removed from the plane according to the law? Since the law of good
sense clearly wasn't in play!

Tami,

What "school" would that be? The "School of Hard Knocks?" That's
where Laveau went to get certified. She still isn't certified however
she is "certifiable."

I also think that making behavior the focus a good idea.

I boarded a plane about 4 years ago and a "certified guide dog" from a
reputable program lunged out from under a seat in the bulkhead and
went after my dog. It was growling, showing it's teeth and the
handler almost lost control of the dog. I was terrified. The
airlines refused to remove the dog and it was just a terrible
experience. It just goes to illustrate that it's not where the dog is
from, it's how the dog behaves.
