Beverly,

My heart goes out to you, as do many, I'm sure, who have been there!

Hang in there, keep putting one foot in front of the other. May God comfort
you as only He can, and may faithful friends walk beside you during this
dark time.
Live in the moment, and you will know later on whether getting another dog
is right for you.

Keeping you in our thoughts & prayers,
Susan & Rhoda

I know I haven't written much to the list, but just wanted everyone to know
that Shiloh, my retired guide dog, was put down on Friday. She had that hip
and back leg problem and Friday morning she was unable to walk. When she
tried, she kept falling. She didn't want to eat, and that was very strange
for her. After taking her to the vet, we made the decision to put her down.
She was 12, and with me for 10 years.

I feel empty now, but in time, I'm sure I will feel better. Don't know if I
will get another dog, haven't crossed that bridge yet.
