[nagdu] Amount of walking

I thought I'd make a comment here. I'm really impressed by the
gentleman who said he walks 8 miles a day! That's a lot of walking.
I'm not sure how much I walk, though it's not -that- much! I try to
get in a mile or two each day, use public transit as much as I can,
even though we have a great accessible transportation system through
taxis, and hope that having a guide dog will encourage me to walk even
more. I've heard that it does, and I know I will enjoy walking more
when I have company. I've tried walking with my cat...she will do it,
but she'd rather walk toward home than away, so it'll only works well
on the return trip *sigh*
