Ah, I would have gotten frustrated and said that if the instructor didn't 
help, I'd retire him and get a new one. The next option is to just be blunt 
and say that you want help because you're the one who handles the dog every 
day and you need to feel safe, and that you don't appreciated being 
disrespected like that. Maybe ask him how he'd feel if he were put in an 
insecure situation like that?
