[nagdu] guide dog attacked near Syracuse

Is there any way to legally defend your dog if it gets attacked? Perhaps 
with some sort of stun gun or night stick. Something that will make the 
attacking dog think twice, but not do any permanent damage or harm your dog 
in any way. I thought about pepper spray, but that would get all over your 
dog as well.
