[nagdu] Harness handle connector assistance please...

Hello
My name is Lora and I got my Seeing eye dog Kori in June. A rep came
out and ordered me a new harness handle. I can't get the old harness
handle off. I unscrewed the "ears" but I can't get the round hookie
things that connect to the D ring unfastened. Any assistance would be
appreciated. It is the part that connects the handle to the main body
of the harness. Thank you in advance.

P.S. I have tried pliers.
