[nagdu] things that go bump in the night

How do you guys know that someone tried to hit you on purpose? What cues do you have about it? Do they hate dogs? Did you seem to look funny to them right then? How do you know these people aren't just flakes and that a sighted person equally flaky could have been walking along and almost gotten hit or, in fact did? As for people trying to drag you by the other end of your cane or the harness, that is rather different. I actually had the harness thing happen to me the other night. I am not sure I ever had before. Another woman there was about as offended as I was.
