Hannah, if you are set on a Poodle, then I would go for the Poodle now and then get the training later. If you want the training under your belt, then I guess I'd go do the training and work toward a Poodle later. In the end, I would say it probably depends on how badly you want the Poodle. It would be a hard call. Also, if you are working toward employment, the dog now would make the most sense. What all does the curriculum at the training center involve?
