[nagdu] Victim or Advocate?

Cheryl,

Look at the bright side: You are a gripping educator. /grin/

The dialogue about victim vs. advocate did start with observations on 
your informational posting. This does not negate the value of the 
information.

For myself, I'm finding this philosophical discussion educational, when 
it's not just interesting. /smile/ Since the Bahamas are not America, 
the ADA the majority of us live under does not apply. But this does seem 
to be a good way to work out our mutual in separate understanding of our 
own responsibilities and our rights alike. So that is something I see as 
good.

I'm still pondering my own thinking and philosophy... Or maybe how to 
express it, what is important, what is just my own 'tude, etc. So then I 
am thinking about the foundation of my life and comings and goings as a 
guide dog user, which is never bad, either. I get nuts because I think 
it should all be so simple, but it's about people, as in humans, so 
we're just not simple. /smile/

I will be waiting for the updated information, too. The technical and 
scientific ins and outs regarding zoonotic diseases are fascinating to 
me, as are the implications to us or anyone whose rights are affected by 
assumptions and lore about such diseases and fears of contamination vs. 
what is known to be real.

So it all works for me! /grin/
