[nagdu] Shepard Guide Dogs

Mark,
I was walking into the Walgreen's in my neighborhood as a father and his
child were walking out. The kid said, "Look, Daddy, a horse!" I've often
thought of getting a saddle for him or hooking him up to a wagon. The way he
pulls, the wagon might be a good option! (grin)
I get a lot of comments about him, the most common of which is, "He is
stunning!" When people ask, "Does he bite?" I generally reply, 'I'm not
sure, would you like to help me find out?" Actually, I don't; however,
unlike my wife's Golden/Lab who is absolutely adorable and people sometimes
pet her without asking, at least people ask first!
Sarge is from GDF. He is the first Shepherd they have put out in about
25 years. His sister, Onja, is a breeder. They should have some Shepherds
ready very soon, as I got Sarge in march 2010 at 20 months old. I have had
several Shepherds. I once train police and protection dogs in my previous
life.

Fraternally yours,
Marion
