I think it is even harder to stand up for yourself and your dog when it is someone you know. Noone has asked me to leave my dog in the trund but I have been asked to leave tres in the car. It is hard to know how to react when it is a family member in my head I know the answer should be absulutely not but I gave in recently and felt bad about it. I hope the next time I will choose to leave tres home or insist he be with me at all times.
