[nagdu] Service Dog Forced To Ride In Taxi Trunk

I don't know the fines for leaving pets in the car unattended. I hear lots 
of dogs barking at my dog while I'm on the street and they're in passing 
cars and don't know if they get left in cars when the people go into a 
store.

I think it's one of those things whre you'll get busted if you get caught - 
like lots of other things.

Ask your local Animal Control or Humane Society about the laws in your 
state.  I think the laws are enforced more when the weather is hot as 
opposed to cold winter weather.  Here in San Diego, our winters are so mild 
that the car can heat up to be too hot in a hurry.  In the summer, I hear 
them say on the news to not leave animals or kids in cars unattended.  the 
kids or animals coould die of heat stroke!
