The Vincent A. Stabile Health Center of The Seeing Eye Receives AAHA Accreditation

Morristown, N.J. – The Vincent A. Stabile Health Center of The Seeing Eye has again received accreditation following a comprehensive evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association. The evaluation includes a quality assessment review of the hospital’s facility, medical equipment, practice methods and pet health care management. The health center provides health care to puppies and dogs within The Seeing Eye’s program. 

“We have a dedicated staff who are firmly committed to canine health care. We are proud to be able to inform our puppy raising families and graduates that through the efforts of our staff, the canine health center continues to achieve the high standards set by AAHA,” said Seeing Eye Attending Veterinarian and Director of Canine Medicine & Surgery Dr. Dolores Holle. 

Only 15 percent of all small animal veterinary practices in the U.S. have achieved accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. In order to maintain accredited status, the health center must continue to be evaluated regularly by the association’s consultants.

The American Animal Hospital Association, established in 1933, is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices throughout the U.S. and Canada for dedication to high standards of veterinary care.
