Hello all!

I have dog sweaters again this year.  Actually I have quite a few.  Most 
of them I made during the past few months when I was waiting for my foot 
to heal.  Crocheting helped to pass the time.  I also have a couple of 
rugs, perfect for use in a crate, under a desk or in an out of the way 
corner as the dog's designated spot.  The rugs were made from leftover 
odds and ends yarns, so are quite colorful.  All the yarns I use are 
acrylic, machine washable and dryable.  They shouldn't shrink, although 
I can't promise that there will be absolutely no shrinkage.  The sizes I 
have provided are approximate.

I realize that not everyone feels that guide dogs need or should wear 
sweaters.  I have two dogs, one needs some winter covering and the other 
is fine with her natural fur coat.   If you feel your dog could benefit 
from a sweater, please feel free to choose one.  If you don't want a 
sweater, no action is necessary! *smile*

The sweaters and rugs are free to whomever wants one.  I make them 
because I like to crochet and I have every sort of afghan, scarf, hat 
and do dad already.  So I get to crochet and you get a sweater or rug 
for your guide dog! All you need to do is send me and email message at:
julielj at neb.rr.com with your first and second choices and where to send 
it.   Sorry I'm not making any sweaters other than what I have listed.  
I'm also not available by phone to discuss sweaters or colors.  If you 
have questions please email me.  Please do not clutter the list with 
sweater requests.  email me privately.

There were a couple of people I promised sweaters last year that didn't 
get one.  If you are one of those people please let me know and I will 
do my very best to get you one this time around.

It will be a few weeks before I will be able to ship the sweaters and 
rugs out.  Please be patient.  Thanks!

Okay here's the list of what's available.
rugs:
*variegated pastels, mint, pink, coral, yellow approximately 2.5 by 3 feet
*variegated dark colors red, black, navy, browns, purple approximately 3 
by 3.5 feet

sweaters
small fits dogs approximately 50 to 60 pounds
medium fits dogs approximately 60 to 80 pounds
large fits dogs approximately 80 to 100 pounds
All sweaters are made to fit over a guide harness.  They slide over the 
dog's head and the guide handle.  There are no fasteners or ties.  
Sweaters are heavy and suitable for moderately cold weather.  If you 
live in Antarctica you need something warmer! *smile*
