[nagdu] OK... I Feel Really STUPID!!! and other things

Hi, all,
I know that my subject is weird, but it was gonna have to come out one way 
or the other.
Yesterday before Odie and I left our home for the day, I decided to play 
around on the internet, just researching service dog schools as a whole for 
the heck of it.
I hPpened to also stuble across something which happens to pertain the 
rights of service dogs and handlers along with responsibilities.
When the whole service dog dispute began with me along with my apartment 
complex, HUD and other various organizations which donate money for 
assistance programs within my complex, I didn't even bother to check Denver 
Gov's web site and another one where I saw something similar for 
guide/assistance dogs.
Boy! I still feel as if I could beat myself up for not checking immediately.
My husband, Dale along with natalie and another friend Alisha Robbinson told 
me not to feel that I am densed.
Dale honestely admitted that he didn't think about checking other resources 
either when doing research.
When he went to the Colorado State's web site, he didn't directly find too 
much in regards of a service dog law.
Well, now that I've comrs across more information, I'll be having my husband 
translate the info into a text only document so it can still be read under 
Microsoft word and that I'll be  able to share with others who may run into 
similar problems if it should come down to their four-legged furry partner.
There's another web site that my friend Natalie came across and encouraged 
me to check it out which also has stuff on the service dog law here in 
colorado as well.
I'll have to check out ADA Gov in a little while so I can compile something 
from there.
Thankfully, I now have more besides what I have found so far to back me up 
and no, I will not be fighting this battle alone.
My husband Dale is in my corner as well as some other friends who are 
willing to step up and help out too.
Now for the rest of the other things...
Odie and I went out with my friend Amanda Dreher and her hearing dog Louie.
We both planned a day to hang out together just to walk around and do some 
looking around inside the Life Way Christian book store way out in 
Centenial, Colorado.
i'll admit that both boys were full of energey and it was definite they 
needed to get out and exercise.
When I mean fully of energey, Odie began to pull me over to the H-line light 
rail train and I had to tell him to calm down with saying easy.
by the time we reached the door however, driver had already locked them up 
and was preparing to pull off.
Of course, Odie wasn't too happy over us missing a light rail, but I told 
him there would be another one coming.
We caught the F-line up to the Broadway Station and got off there to wait 
for Amanda and Louie to meet us.
Both boys went crazy as soon as they saw each other.
We took the H-line light rail up to the Colorado Station to get off and 
transfer to the route40 bus.
I'll admit that while the light rail driver was trying to put the ramp down, 
he told me that Odie was fixing to jump over it.
Before that happened though, I got on the four-legged furry kid's case, 
telling him he wasn't going to do that.
Later on, we headed out to Centenial where we weren't that far from the Park 
Meadows shopping Mall.
By the time Amanda and I got home, both dogs were really tired out.
Odie immediately sacked out once we came inside.
Amanda and I both agree that a big break would be needed and another travel 
plan will be next time.
I can admit that when it came to us having to cross over Yosemite and county 
Line, the light cycle was weird and too short.
At one point when the walk sign was up, someone decided to turn.
Luckily, Odie pulled me back quickly and Luie pulled Amanda back really 
fast.
Each of us praised our dogs as they did something good.
Odie did look back at Amanda and Luie to see if they were all right.
We decided to wait out until another cycle and then had no choice but to 
quickly run across the street.
I did tell Amanda that the next time we'd plan to adventure out into that 
area, I'd be looking into the Loan Tree Call and Ride Service so we wouldn't 
have to quickly run across a that intersection as it was way larger and 
wider than colorado Boulevard.
Since it's housekeeping day today, Odie and I definitely won't be going 
anywhere.
I know some people are not happy with me still taking Odie along as my 
partner, but until I can get another dog, that is the safest way for me to 
travel, especially while my convulsive grandmal seizures are unknown still 
and when I along with nerology can get a good better handle on them.
Since Odie has witnessed the convulsive grandmals as well as another lady on 
the bus almost two years ago experiencing a seizure, he can immediately let 
me know if an appending one is going to happen.
If so, Odie will immediately pull me away from a busy road.
More likely when I do get another dog, I'll have to make sure it is a conbo 
one.
Well, I'm done, so guess that will be enough from me for now.
