dear All,
The Internet is an incredible tool we can use to accomplish the goals of the National Association of Guide Dog Users and the National Federation of the Blind. We already have a dynamic website

that is evolving into the premium source of accurate information about guide dog training, use, and consumer rights. The incredible power available through the World Wide Web will be a key element to share information and remove the barriers we face as blind people. One of the specific tools available to us through the web is that of social networking sites.
I am pleased to announce that Matt Weihmuller, a member of our Florida Association of Guide Dog Users, has agreed to chair a Social Networking Committee for us. This committee will be responsible for identifying social networking opportunities, such as FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and the like, in order to give NAGDU a more visible presence on the World Wide Web. I would like to invite members who are interested in working on this committee to write to me off-list at

President at NAGDU.ORG

I look forward to working closely with this committee as we enhance our visibility and continue our reputation as the leading advocate for service animal users in the United States!

Fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala, President
National Association of Guide Dog Users (NAGDU)
National Federation of the Blind
