My dog is this way, and I found that creamcheese works well because it  
sticks to the pill.  However, with especially nasty antibiotics or  
those heartguard beef things, nothing will do but to shove it down her  
throat.  I'm glad she will take her Proin in cream cheese (most of the  
time).  But I feel your pain on this issue.
