I think the PVC Pile is a good idea. Let's say you are having trouble with a dog crashing you into things so you construct this post. Let's say the dog runs you into it and it clatters noisily to the group about the same time you correct that dog. I should think the dog might remember that, especially if you travel the same course successfully as soon as possible and then praise for the successful follow up to the first trip. LOL.
