My first thought was that she might have a sore tooth or other dental or 
mouth issue.  If she's anything like my Monty, there is very little 
chewing involved at mealtimes.   Chewing only occurs with toys and bones.

Do you brush her teeth?  Or how does she respond if you rub her muzzle 
or touch around her mouth?   If she's reacting differently in these 
situations, a quick check at the vet might be the thing.  If she doesn't 
mind you handling her mouth, then I'd agree with others, that it's 
probably nothing.
