[nagdu] why so hard?

I took a dog back once--Crumpet--and said goodbye to her in Judy's office. I thought about her and might have liked to see her again, but breaking the apron strings, so to speak, and moving on is the right route to take by the time you are back at the school. That was a little hard, and slightly weird, too.

I retired my previous guide by taking him back to the school and then getting my new one, I will never, ever, ever, ever, do that again. Boy was that hard. I couldn't keep Michael though because he was a very jealous dog and wouldn't have handled another dog doing his job ... But Michelle was wonderful ... Although they wouldn't let me see Michael just that one more time no matter how hard I cried and begged, she was awsome.

She has a counseling degree I think. Then she is open to ongoing discussions with you concerning your grief, or you can talk to eher earlier. They could have changed the schedule of when this class is done since I was last there, but it is an optional experience.
