Definitely.
Other service dog handlers get impacted just as bad if they end up in the same position.
I don't plan on counting the amount of times Odie came close to destroying loose or out of control dogs, even when they've been on a leash.
My thoughts and prayers still go out to that guide dog user, dog and especially the instructor who visually had to witness that attack.
I don't like to say this, but I feel that there's just plenty of individuals who shouldn't be a dog owner or handler if they can't train it properly ot learn how to control his/her dog.
I've seen it the same way when it comes to folks with guide/assistance dogs too.
