Mark, I'd have to agree with Rebecca here. I am sure you understand that if the woman is the head of the department, she likely has tenure. Is this pride talking? Forget it! You've been hassled by them plenty and deserve to have your rights there. All you have to do is make sure she is getting her own education, too. Cindy
