Hi Terrie!  Yes, I look forward to getting home and showing off my new dog
to everyone.  And, it'll be good to see you too.  It's been awhile.  I still
remember how impressed I was watching you cruise around the hotel with your
dog at my first state convention all those years ago.  I've always had great
O&M skills but I love to walk fast and will enjoy being able to do that more
easily with my dog.

I wish you the very very best at Seeing eye. I am in between dogs at the
moment, about to have a knee replacement in November. I'm actually enjoying
the cane, though there are some large streets like Shelbyville and
Breckenridge that I won't cross with it. I wish you the very best! I hope to
see you at a NFB Meeting after you're back.
for those who don't know, I met Tonia many many years ago and we live in the
same city, though in different areas.

                Hey all!  My name is Tonia and I live in Louisville, KY.  I
teach assistive tech at our state rehab center and I'm also an eBay seller.
I'll be leaving later this month to get my first guide dog from The Seeing
Eye.  I'm so excited and can't wait to experience the kind of freedom that I
know traveling with a dog will bring.

 

I look forward to getting to know all of you on the list and perhaps meeting
many of you in Orlando next summer.
