I brush Anna every other day and wipe her down everyday with baby 
wipes with
aloe.
I have her bathe twice a year.  sometimes I do it in my bath tub 
or my vet
does it .  I usually pay 25 dollars.
It sounds like Pascal is sanative to being brushed.  Maybe when 
he was a pup
it hurt him to be groomed.  Anna loves it and so does my pet dog.  
they come
running to me when they see the brush or furminator.
It sounds like your doing everything right with him to groom him.

 Hi all,

 Do any of you have dogs that do not like to be brushed/groomed?

 My dog, Pascal has always disliked being brushed.  Every time I 
get my
 grooming kit out, he runs and tries to hide.

 He will tolerate being brushed, but gives me dirty looks and 
acts like I
 am
 torturing him.  I don't think it hurts him, as I use a softer 
than normal
 slicker brush, and occasionally a Furminator.  I also don't use 
a strong
 pressure when I run the brush through.  He doesn't act like it 
hurts, or
 wince in pain (which is always good, LOL)  As soon as I am done 
he turns
 back into his normal happy self.  I give him praise when he 
behaves well,
 and
 if he is really good, he gets a kibble afterwards as a treat.

 Any thoughts or suggestions on making grooming more enjoyable 
for him?

 I also have a question about bathing and professional grooming.

 Do you all bathe your dogs at home? If so, how often?

 Do you take your dog to get professionally groomed? How often?
