[nagdu] Find the stairs

Hi.

Whenever I teach Ace to find something, I walk him up to the object, and praise him like crazy. "You found the stairs! What a good boy! Yay for the stairs!" I imagine you get my drift. Then, I back away from it by about fifteen feet, and encourage him to find the thing again. When he does, he gets praised lavishly once again. I keep doing this, until he's familiar with the concept.

If you're wanting to target very specific flights of stairs, I would recommend teaching it to her the same way you'd teach any other "find". If she starts showing you stairs you don't really want, you could say something like, "Good girl, but not now." Then, direct her to keep moving.

Good luck with the upcoming semester.
