[nagdu] Dogs at work

if there is a table or small place, the dog can be tied down. You
could also find a collapsible crate.
Also, if you have to be apart from the dog, I would say absolutely no
more than one room away.
Another floor would be completely unacceptable.

I work in a pizza parlor where the dog is not allowed in the kitchen,
so I put her out by the cash register and when I am in the kitchen, I
check on her every hour or so to make sure she is ok.
She is in a portable crate and does fine.
The crate is a bit small for her but she doesn't mind. (it took a bit
of work to get her comfortable in the tight space, but now she loves
it.)

But under a table, in between two machines, in a corner, or if
necessary, out in the hallway next to the door.
If your dog is barky, that is an entire other issue.

Good luck!
