[nagdu] 2 things in one

My dog Brie is the same way. I've llost a lot of dog boots... She
was quite sneaky about it too. I would put them on her, and this she
would tolerate, but once we get moving, she would kick them off, and I
wouldn't see it. Then eventually, I would notice that she was walking
differently and notice that one of the boots had come off. Very
clever of her, since I can't see to retrieve them. So yeah, no
booties for us.

I was amazed last week. She and I had to walk home as freezing rain
was coming down. My friend was describing how Brie was navigating the
ice--she was apparently walking with her paws spread and kind of
curving a little. In movement class, we called this indirect
movement. Anyway, I think it's amazing that they know to do this.
And I agree with Ravin here. I know Brie doesn't enjoy getting wet,
but she loves the cold. I think that dogs are actually a little like
people. Some of them tolerate different temperatures better than
others. Brie loves the cold but absolutely detests the heat; even a
little warmpth seems to be a lot to her.

Three things I would ask my dog: I would ask her what she really
thinks of me. I would also ask her when she really wanted to retire.
It would also be fun to know what she really thinks of all the singing
she gets to hear. :)
