Hi, there,
I can feel your frustration.
It's not just service dog owners who are at fault, so are pet dog owners.
I have no problems with Odie running up toward the front door of my apartment.
He usually lies down for the most part unless I call him to me.
One piece of advice I can give is to have your dog on a short leash so he/she can be under better control.
Of course, Odie is a lot older now and not as highly energetic or frisky.
