[nagdu] dogs and mosh pits don't mix

Julie,

Thank you so much for the crate. I measured my available Flore space, and it
will fit, although just barely. The fact that it folds flat will allow me to
slide it under my bed when not in use, which is the only way I'd have a
prayer of storing it. I'd have no room to walk with it set up. The open
space in my dorm measures 5 by 4 and is mostly covered by the crocheted rug
that my dog sleeps on.

Yes, my dog is crate trained, and I'm not concerned that he will attempt to
escape, my statement about the other foldable crates I have seen not being
sturdy enough is they are made of a sort of nylon mesh, over a springy wire
frame. The ones at the local pet store look like they would rip extremely
easily. The other design I have seen is a cage constructed out of thin bars
although sturdy, I don't have the space to store it. The third option I have
looked at is just a standard kennel, like the ones the dog trainers have in
the back of the vans, but these don't collapse at all, and I'd never have
the space. The way you have descried the canvas fold flat design sounds like
it is sturdy, however, I would be able to easily collapse it when not in
use.
